Power Leveling In Diablo III

Discovering the best power leveling techniques in Diablo III is one thing that enables a lot of gamers have the most fun with the game as they can. Gamers who use these strategies reduce the amount of time they spend at the boring lower levels and learn to supercharge their characters to the highest level. This is where Diablo III gets exciting, with intricate arrays of skills and powers, thrilling adversaries, and magnificent rewards are aplenty. The most effective strategies can be discovered easily with only the best, high quality Diablo III guides.

The basis of just about every power leveling strategy for Diablo III is discovering the activities that produce the greatest return of experience for the time spent for any given class or level. Basically, if grinding (killing monsters repeatedly) will provide a character 500 experience per hour, performing arbitrary quests will provide that same character 800 experience per hour, and carrying out a particular set of quests will deliver you 1,000 XP per hour, the latter choice is the quickest and most desired alternative.

In Diablo II grinding was pretty much the only way to power level. However, with the new revamped and redevelopment of Diablo III, grinding is no longer an efficient method to gain more experience and level up faster. Gamers are better off now performing random quests, although a centered, specific approach produces a lot more rewards in terms of experience.

This is certainly an excellent design choice by Blizzard, in fact, most of the game is invested at the intermediate levels, and it truly is a lot more interesting for the gamer when they can do a variety of things and earn exciting prizes in the process instead of simply beating the identical group of adversaries constantly. Nevertheless, it certainly does make power leveling much more challenging.

Although you could figure out the appropriate sequence of quests to take to be able to speed level from level 1 to level 60 on your own, it would probably take a long time. The whole point of power leveling is not to waste time, but to get to the maximum level as fast as possible.

A better solution to power leveling is to take advantage of more experienced players' knowledge. There are a number of Diablo III guides available online that can provide gamers with an in-depth, structured, quick, and dynamic path to the highest levels in the game, while earning tons of gold and gear on the way.

Diablo III Wizard Leveling Build

The wizard is one of the newest class additions to the Diablo game series, along with the witch doctor, monk, and demon hunter. It essentially replaces the sorceress that existed in Diablo II.

Leveling a wizard can be extremely time consuming if you don't properly prepare or use the right set of skills. Here are some of the best ways to ensure that you will level as fast as possible while playing a wizard in Diablo III.

First off, it's important to ensure that you do everything you reasonably can to get the best gear on your character for leveling. This doesn't mean that you need to seek out legendary gear but it does mean that you should check the auction house to get the best pieces you can afford as you level. Having good gear means that you'll do more damage and have more vitality; this is important and will increase the speed at which you can level. Other options for getting gear are checking out the vendors in town and using blacksmithing to create gear (you can also have a friend with blacksmithing do this for you).

Also, make sure that you have a ruby placed into the socket in your helm. A ruby in your helm will increase the amount of experience you gain while leveling and dramatically reduce your leveling time.

Finally, for your follower, be sure to choose a Templar so that he can heal you. This will provide you with the best survive-ability, which you will need to make it through Normal to Nightmare, onward through Hell and into Inferno.

While playing the wizard I've developed a build that is designed especially for leveling. It includes using the following skills: Magic Missiles, Arcane Orb, Frost Nova, Wave of Force, Familiar, and Magic Weapon.

For passive skills this build utilizes Glass Cannon, Astral Presence, and Power Hungry.

Remember that you won't get all of these skills right off the bat, so you'll need to be smart about it all and integrate them with the skills you currently have until you have all of the skills available to perfectly match the build.

If you are wondering what to expect when leveling a wizard, in terms of whether or not it will be slower to level than other classes, I can provide some insight since I have played all of the classes in game. If you take the time to get gear, socket your helm, pick the templar as your follower, use this build, and do your best to avoid taking loads of melee damage you will find that you can level as fast as or faster than the other classes in game.

For a link to the build used in this article take a look at this Diablo III Guide.

5 AoE Leveling Tips You Don't Want to Miss

Area of Effect (AoE) Leveling is a leveling style that is very popular leveling style in games like World of Warcraft and Everquest. Unfortunately, Blizzard has increased its efforts to prevent its subscribers from using AoE leveling in World of Warcraft due to the inequality it created in leveling speeds.

There were some spots in game that were overlooked during development phase which players were using to farm experience at a rate far faster than they had designed the game for. Therefore, these places were removed and reworked through the patch system.

With the release of the Cataclysm expansion AoE Leveling was virtually eliminated from the game. It wasn't removed in the sense that it no longer exists, instead, it was removed in the sense that they made it harder to do. The game was changed to make it generally faster to level by completing quests which took away the appeal of AoE Grinding.

However, there are still points in the game where it can be faster to AoE instead of quest. Additionally, farmers generally use this method of leveling in order to kill mobs to skin or for loot while they are leveling up their character.

Here are a few things players should know about AoE leveling that will help them maximize their experience:

Instead of gathering enemies by moving into proximity of them, use a ranged weapon or attack to pull the enemies to an area so they don't reach their maximum tether radius and turn around. A tether radius is the maximum distance an enemy will travel before it turns around and runs back to reset.Use a silence to pull casters toward melee enemies or pull melee enemies to a group of casters to get the most enemies in each pull.Don't try to pull more too many mobs. For larger pulls ensure be a level or two higher than the target enemies. When gathering mobs by proximity, use a mount and any speed enhancing effects available to gather them quickly.Use food buffs and any other buffs available

There is some good news coming up in Mists of Pandaria for AoE levelers. Blizzard has decided to add area looting into the game so players can just loot one corpse and everything will be looted from one click instead of clicking each corpse individually. There has been no mention yet on further adjustments to AoE leveling but one can imagine the zones won't be AoE friendly at all.

If you're wondering where you can AoE Level check out this AoE Grinding Guide at Almost Gaming which includes grinding locations from level 10 to level 85.

Horde Leveling Dungeons Where You Can Also Make Nice Amounts of Gold

Have you just started a new Horde character? Well, if you want to boost your XP rate from time to time, and also make some gold in the process, it's not a bad idea to complete a few Horde leveling dungeons.

However, not every dungeon can provide you with a great deal of XP and also a decent amount of gold. So, in this post I'm going to underline a few of the best Horde leveling dungeons for XP and gold, to put in your leveling path.

Scholomance

Scholomance is one of the Horde leveling dungeons with a high concentration of trash mobs, which means you will be getting a lot of XP. The level range is 40-44. There are many quests in this instance and there are 13 bosses.

Although most of the blue loot is bind-on-acquire, there's a nice Enchanting formula that drops here, which can be sold for up to 1000g depending on server. The Spectral Researchers can drop Formula: Enchant Weapon - Lifestealing, a great enchantment that can be applied to Heirloom weapons. You can also make a lot of gold as an Enchanter by crafting and selling the enchantments. They usually go for up to 300g each.

Tip for Enchanters: In any instance you go as you level up, you can (and you should) ninja all the items that you can roll for, to disenchant them and sell the parts. You'll make nice gold this way as you level up. Players don't usually care, since their main goal is XP. However, in case someone really needs an item, it's nice to pass it, instead of disenchanting it.

Zul'Farrak

This dungeon is located in northern Tanaris. The level range is 46-49. This should be the instance to run before Stratholme, if you're leveling your character via Horde leveling dungeons.

Zul'Farrak has a pretty dense population of trolls, therefore, the XP here is not bad. Plus, there are several quests that you can pick up and complete inside the instance. The bosses don't drop extremely valuable loot, but most trash mobs drop 1-4 pieces of Mageweave Cloth. This type of intermediate level cloth sometimes sells for 60-70 gold per stack.

So, since there are many mobs inside, and they frequently drop something valuable, Zul'Farrak is one of the best Horde leveling dungeons.

These two Horde leveling dungeons are not bad to choose as your leveling destinations from level 40 to 48, if of course, you want to level up via dungeons. However if you want to level up your character as quickly as possible, the best choice is solo questing, following an optimized leveling path. That means you should know exactly where to go for each and every quest, and also exactly what you must do. That can be easily achieved with an in-game, player-made Horde leveling guide.

If you're looking for an optimized, in-game Horde Leveling Guide, just follow this link.

Also, here are two other Horde Leveling Dungeons where you can boost your XP rate and also get nice gold.
